Finals week was done and so was the video. Waiting that long was the longest agony I ever had. I had a conflict with the person editing the video because he charged me which I didn’t expect. First and foremost, before everything else, I asked him if how much his rate was. Of course I have to ask for it because it’s my responsibility. He said it was for free because we were friends. I even asked him over and over again just to be making sure. And he was certain. Suddenly, after the video was almost done he is now charging me for an amount that wasn’t even good enough to pay him. Knowing his attitude and his work made me angry. I asked for the raw files just for me to present to my supervisor which he didn’t even gave to me. That is the most inconsiderate person in the world. He was being selfish and proud. On the other hand, having also an inconsiderate boss made me more angry and sad. Both of them are just making my life miserable. I totally understand both of their sides of the situation being the boss and the person editing it. But they would also have to consider my side of the situation which I was in the middle of it carrying the burden and agony.
This was the far worst experience I ever had. I have never felt this down and sad. Luckily, I am fortunate enough to have my instructor for being with me and giving me advices on what to do and how to deal with this matter. Having my friends around helped me a lot emotionally. Knowing that I have a loving and supportive family and a superb mother who were always with me ever since from the beginning. These people helped me a lot and lifted me up thru these tough times. Setting aside the anger and sadness, I paid the editor although he didn’t deserve it. And I approached my supervisor calmly with all respect. Nevertheless, I know that this is one big challenge that God has given me and He knows that I will get thru this with his guidance. And if there is one word to describe the whole internship I had this semester, it would have to be UNBELIEVABLE.
